The following are just a few of God's promises for answered prayer. Please note that almost all of them require that you meet His condition. (These are excerpts from pages 193-196 of PRAYING IN THE WORD OF GOD: Advancing Christ's Kingdom, by Kathie Grant.)

John 16:24 John 14:13,14 John 15:7
1. Until now you have not asked for anything in My name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. 2. And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask Me for anything in My name, and I will do it. 3. If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.

John 15:16 1 John 5:14-15 James 4:8 1 John 3:21-22
4. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit - fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in My name. 5. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of Him. 6. Come near to God and He will come near to you. 7. Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from Him anything we ask, because we obey His commands and do what pleases Him.
Matthew 7:7, 8 Romans 8:26 , 27 Phillipians 4:6,7 Ephesians 3:20
8. "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. 9. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will. 10. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 11. Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.
Exodus 33:17 Psalms 10:17 Proverbs 10:24 Proverbs 15:29
12. And the Lord said to Moses, "I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name." 13. You hear, O Lord, the desire of the afflicted; You encourage them, and You listen to their cry. 14. What the wicked dreads will overtake him; what the righteous desire will be granted. 15. The Lord is far from the wicked but He hears the prayer of the righteous.
Isaiah 65:24 Matthew 6:6 Matthew 18:19, 20 Matthew 21:22
16. Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear. 17. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 18. Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in My name, there am I with them. 19. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
Mark 11:24 ,25 Luke 11:13 Luke 18:7,8 Heb. 4:16
20. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. 21. If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him! 22. And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will He keep putting them off? I tell you, He will see that they get justice, and quickly. 23. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
James 1:5-7 Psa. 9:10 Psa. 9:12 Psa. 34:17
24. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord. 25. Those who know Your name will trust in You, for You, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek You. 26. For He who avenges blood remembers; He does not ignore the cry of the afflicted. 27. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.
Psa. 37:4 Psa. 102:17 Joel 2:32 Zech. 10:1
28. Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. 29. He will respond to the prayer of the destitute; He will not despise their plea. 30. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. 31. Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime; it is the Lord who makes the storm clouds. He gives showers of rain to men, and plants of the field to everyone.
2 Chr. 7:14 Psa. 145:18,19 Prov. 3:6 Jer. 33:3
32. If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 33. The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them. 34. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. 35. Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.
John 9:31 Heb. 11:6 James 4:10 James 5:16
36. We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly man who does his will. 37. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. 38. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up. 39. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
Prov. 28:13 Psa. 32:5
40. He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. 37. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
